Walkerville Heritage Conservation District Study

The City of Windsor is pleased to launch a Heritage Conservation District (HCD) study project focused on Walkerville. The Walkerville HCD Study is composed of background and historical research, inventory of heritage resources in Walkerville, discussions on the Walkerville boundary, assessing the existing planning framework, and examining potential alternative regulatory tools. We received a great turnout at our public kick-off meeting on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Willistead Manor. Since then, the project team and our researchers have completed a property-based inventory study, and we have developed a Draft Study Report and Appendices with all our findings. We are now pleased to present to you our findings at our upcoming public engagement event.
